Problem with your eyes?

Toomas Õunap

We have a solution for you.
Living in the age of information, we are constantly required to use the screen of TV, computers, laptops and smartphones to keep up with the rest of the world. Most of us work behind the computer 9 hours per day after witch we go home to relax by watching a movie or two.

Our eyes are not used to this kind of work. We all know that we need to take time to rest our eyes by simply doing something else but how many of us actually do it?

We can look at it like training you muscles. If we have to sit down most of your day and like that most of week then we need to go to gym or do other kind of activity in order to prevent diseases and to keep our bodies healthy and functioning. It is exactly the same with our eyes. Without enough of eye movement they lose their focus. As a result we end up with headache, tiredness, diseases and decreasing functionality of our eyes.

In order to prevent that from happening there are few simple exercises that can help us to avoid all this and all it takes is few minutes per day.

This is what you have to do in order to improve the blood flow of your eyes and reduce the tension in your eyes:

Start with doing this exercises 3 times and when doing them regularly you can increase that to up to 7. Start with looking up diagonally to the left at a certain point for 2 seconds. Then look up and continue like that until you have completed the circle. Now relax your eyes in the middle for 10-15 seconds. Now do the same thing with the opposite direction and that finishes the first cycle. It’s as easy as that.

There are few tricks to make it even more effective. In order to get most out of this exercise put a bit of tension to your eyes while looking like you want to see something very clearly. Afterwards you might feel that your eyes are a bit tired. This means that it worked.
